The West of England is one of the oldest Tavern's in Newport dating back to in and around the 1800's, a Grade 1 listed building and standing in the Shadow of the Newport Transporter Bridge, which spans the River Usk and just off Newport’s SDR with easy access from the M4 and Newport City Centre.
Serving a selection of lagers and real ales in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. If you fancy a game or two, we also have a pool table, darts and shove half penny.

Function Rooms
are available to book for your next event including Weddings, Christenings,
Birthdays and Corporate Events we are also able to organise the entertainment, catering and full dressing of the rooms should you require it.
Events
We have many weekly events here at the West of England including Ladies and
Mens Darts, Karaoke, quiz night and free Pool, we also have free bar snacks every
Sunday. As well as our weekly events we also have special events including Ladies, Gentleman evenings and fun days for all the family.
